Moments are summed about the origin O (the centre of the grid). Use consistent units โ€” e.g. forces in N with positions in m, or forces in kN with positions in m. Angle convention: 0ยฐ points right (+x), measured counter-clockwise โ€” so 90ยฐ is up, 180ยฐ is left, 270ยฐ (or โˆ’90ยฐ) is down.
