DRUW = dry-rodded (compacted) unit weight of the coarse aggregate. SSD = saturated-surface-dry basis. Defaults are used when a specific-gravity field is left blank.

โ‘ฃ Aggregate moisture (optional field correction)

Free (surface) moisture = total moisture โˆ’ absorption. Wetter-than-SSD aggregate carries extra water, so the added mixing water is reduced; drier aggregate increases it.
