- It can misread a drawing — a "5" might become "3", a hidden line can look like a center line, a dimension can be misread.
- It can mistake the projection angle (first- vs third-angle) if the symbol isn't shown.

- The explanation is a study aid. Verify against your plate, your notes, and what your professor taught.
